Many CaribTutor students are minors. Adults on the platform — tutors, parents, and operators — must keep lessons appropriate and report harm.

Version 5.1. Effective September 27, 2026. These pages are governed by the laws of New Jersey. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Hudson County, New Jersey, except where the law requires a court. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing support@caribtutor.xyz within 30 days of first accepting these terms.
Lessons are for education. Sexual content involving minors is forbidden. A tutor must not contact a minor off the platform without consent from the parent or guardian. Do not move that lesson or those messages off CaribTutor to hide them from that parent or guardian.
At student signup, the person creating the account chooses “I am 13 or older” or “I am a parent or guardian creating this for my child.” Someone under 13 cannot create their own account. A parent or guardian creates that account and uses it with the child. There is no separate child login, and there is no automated parent-consent check.
If you chose the parent or guardian option, you are the account holder. You may sit in or stay nearby during live lessons. Bookings and messages stay on CaribTutor. A student who is 13 or older can create their own account; a parent can still help them. We may limit or close an account that we believe puts a child at risk.
Email support@caribtutor.xyz or call (570) 243-9071. On email, use the subject “Child safety”. Include the lesson time, usernames you know, and what happened. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. We may also be required to report certain abuse to authorities.
If we restrict an account and you believe that was a mistake, email the same address with the subject “Appeal”.
